The Greenfield Parks and Recreation Department will offer a variety of art workshops for children and families during the month of October at the Patricia Elmore Center Recreation Complex.
After-school art workshops featuring seasonally-themed activities will be offered Oct. 9 and 16 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Fall Break Art Camps will be held during two weeks, one beginning Oct. 7 and the other Oct. 14. The program, for students ages 6 through 12, will provide instruction in multiple art mediums including drawing, painting and ceramics. Each session will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday.
Mommy & Me Art Play Days will be offered Oct. 22 and 29 from noon to 2 p.m. Mothers and children ages 3-6 will create a Halloween-themed craft project.
A speciality art workshop open to individuals and families will be offered Oct. 23, offering the opportunity to work with ceramics and stained glass in a fully equipped workshop from 4-5:30 p.m.
Participants can register for all activities online at greenfieldin.org. All art supplies will be provided.
