Cougars win Greensburg Invitational
Greenfield-Central picked up its second consecutive victory to start the 2019 season on Saturday, topping the 15-team field at the Greensburg Invitational to win by four strokes, with a 360.
Junior Caroline Gibson earned medalist honors, shooting a personal-best 72. Haley Hoagland added a personal-best of her own with an 89. Tandess O’Neal had a 95 and Grace Silcox a 104 to round out the scoring.
Marauders finish 13th at invite
Mt. Vernon took part in the Whiteland Invitational on Saturday, finishing 13th out of 18 teams.
The Marauders were led by Meredith Johnson, who finished in eighth place with an 87.
