GREENFIELD — Riley Park Pool will remain open until Aug. 18, according to the parks department.
The Greenfield Parks and Recreation Department posted on its Facebook page earlier in the week that the pool will be open 2½ weeks longer than normal. Pool office staff needed to find enough staff to work each day from 3:30-7 p.m. until Sunday, Aug. 18. The only day the pool won’t be open is Aug. 8.
Typically, the pool closes when school starts, unless there’s adequate staffing, the post states.
The pool’s splash pad will remain open from dusk till dawn until Labor Day.
