Members of Mt. Vernon High School’s VOICE and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America groups partnered together to celebrate Kick Butts Day week at their school. Their activities included morning announcements; a table at lunch; presentations to middle school students; a patrol to pick up cigarette butts; and a foosball tournament. VOICE is Indiana’s youth movement against the tobacco industry and its targeting of youth. Mt. Vernon High School teacher and VOICE sponsor Megan Addison served as the coordinator of events.
