Portions of I-65, I-70 to close this weekend
INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Transportation will close major portions of Interstates 65 and 70 near downtown Indianapolis from Friday through Sunday.
All closures will begin at 9 p.m. Friday. Lanes will be reopen by 6 a.m. Monday.
Here are the areas that will be closed:
The right three lanes will be closed on I-65 northbound from Southport Road to I-465.
I-65 northbound will be closed between the South Split and the North Split.
I-70 eastbound will be closed between I-465 and the South Split on the west side.
All of these areas will be undergoing construction.
