For the final time as students, members of Eastern Hancock High School’s Class of 2019 filed in to the school’s gymnasium on Saturday. When they left later as new graduates, their longtime principal left with them.
Principal Dave Pfaff, who retired after a long career at Eastern Hancock, posed for photos with graduates and shared hugs as easily as he passed out diplomas. He had a smile and warm words for everyone.
Hailey Hedrick was the class valedictorian. Cassandra Hanneman was the salutatorian.
