Donations being accepted to aid women’s shelter
FORTVILLE — Several businesses in Fortville are serving as donation drop-off points for a national moving company’s campaign to help women displaced by domestic violence.
Two Men and a Truck’s Movers for Moms initiative is collecting gifts for local women staying in community shelters this spring.
Donors can drop off new or gently used items at the following Fortville businesses: Wine Garage, 305 S. Main St.; Gathered Roots, 242 S. Main St.; Studio 949, 230 S. Main St.; Time & Again Shop, 230 S. Main St.; StoreHouse, 11 S. Main St.; and Jennifer’s Flowers, 2 S. Main St.
Donations will go to The Salvation Army Shelter for Women & Children in Indianapolis.
