Kids can attend Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Celebration

GREENFIELD — Kids in Grades 1 through 5 can portray their favorite Ninja Turtle at a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Celebration from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Monday at Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. Those who attend this free program can play ninja games and watch “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” while enjoying the Turtles’ favorite snack — pizza. Teens can craft for a cause

GREENFIELD — Teens in Grades 6 through 12 can use their crafting skills to create fleece hats for cancer patients from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. Teens have the option of hand sewing or using a sewing machine to make the hats. All hats will be donated to Sue Ann Wortman Cancer Center. Participants will receive a letter as proof of service. No registration is necessary for this free event in the library’s GBC Community Room B.

Peewinkle’s Puppets present “Rumpelstiltskin”

INDIANAPOLIS — Peewinkle’s Puppets will present “Rumpelstiltskin” through April 19 at the Indiana State Museum, 650 W. Washington St. The classic fairy tale will be presented on a traditional marionette stage complete with velvet curtain and scenery. The $12 tickets include a post-show workshop and free popcorn.
