Storm spotter training to begin April 9

HANCOCK COUNTY — While it’s difficult to determine what Indiana’s tornado season will be like this year, the National Weather Service in Indianapolis says it’s important for everyone to be prepared for severe weather occurs.

The National Weather Service, in conjunction with the Hancock County Emergency Management Agency, will conduct severe-storm spotter training from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 9. The training is free and will be held at NineStar Connect at 2243 E. Main Street, Greenfield.
