City will spend $405,566 for new well on north side
GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Water Utility plans to spend $405,566 to build a new water well on the north side of the city this summer.
The Greenfield Board of Works and Public Safety on Tuesday approved a contract with Culy Contracting, of Winchester, to construct a well and water main on land northeast of the Interstate 70/State Road 9 interchange. The well will replace one that was shut down in late 2017. The city has five additional wells.
