HANCOCK COUNTY — Three women who were wanted on felony warrants in Georgia allegedly took to social media to taunt law enforcement by saying “Do your job (expletive).”

On Sunday, that’s what Trooper Christopher Waltz did, when he put the fugitives in jail after a short police chase.

Waltz was patrolling Interstate 70 in Hancock County when he spotted a white Nissan Sentra speeding. Waltz also noted the driver made an abrupt lane change from an exit-only lane back on to the interstate. The trooper gave chase and eventually pulled them over in Henry County.

With the assistance of deputies from the Henry County Sheriff’s Department and officers with the Shirley Police Department, all three occupants were taken into police custody and transported to the Hancock County Jail.

Arrested were: Toni L. Huizar, 23, Fort Myers, Florida; Amber L. Dunlap, 27, Lehigh Acres, Florida; and Tiphanie D. Sager, 26, Cape Coral Florida.

During a check of the car, troopers located credit cards, checkbooks, Social Security cards and identification cards belonging to other people. The women also each had several felony warrants out of Covington, Georgia, related to a string of thefts in that area.

The Hancock County prosecutor will now review the case to determine charges. Aside from local pending charges in Indiana, it is anticipated all three women will eventually be extradited back to Georgia to face outstanding criminal allegations.
