GREENFIELD

Frances Arlene (Rosengrant) Rogers, age 66, of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Neptune, New Jersey on April 18, 1952 to Harry and Marian (Carnell) Rosengrant.

She graduated from North Miami High School in 1970. Frances received her bachelors of science in nursing from IUPUI in 1993 and in 2006 she obtained her masters of science in nursing. Frances married Paul D. Rogers on June 10, 1972 in Roann, Indiana.

She was a nurse for many years at Riverview Hospital and ICU at Hancock Regional Hospital, and a nurse practitioner for Golden Living Center. Most recently, she was the nurse practitioner for several years at Keihn in the clinic. She was a member at Park Chapel Christian Church and the Nurse Practitioners Association. Frances enjoyed traveling, English horse riding, and spending time with her family. She and Paul both went on mission and touring trips to Israel.

Frances is survived by her husband, Paul Rogers of Greenfield; children, Tim (Jennifer) Rogers of Milford, Ohio, Adam (Ying) Rogers of Tokyo, Japan, and Beth Jones of Fishers; six grandchildren, Gavin, Bailey, Peyton, Avery, Kennedy, and Sawyer; and siblings, Carol Eldridge of Logansport, Martha (Gary) Keenan of Avon, New York, Elaine Rosengrant of Caledonia, New York, Barbara Rosengrant of Rochester, New York, and Karl Rosengrant of New Hampshire. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Marian Rosengrant; and brother, Bart Rosengrant.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Park Chapel Christian Church, 1176 E. McKenzie Road, Greenfield, IN 46140. Pastor David Woods will be officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
