GREENFIELD
William E. Rosier, 85, passed away, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Woodland Terrace, New Palestine. He was born February 16, 1933 in Indianapolis to the late Nelta (England) Hayden. William served in the US Army during the Korean War. He married the late Willa (Pugh) on June 27, 1953. Bill was an A-Grade Machinist for AT&T until his retirement in 1992 and a former member of Northside Christian Church.
Bill had many interests including Corvettes and airplanes. He was an avid hunter and would hunt anything including big game. He was a long-time member of the N.R.A, L.E.A. and Safari International. Bill was loved by all and was a “special grandfather” to many.
Bill is survived by his son, William (Jennifer K.) Rosier of Versailles, IN; grandchildren, Jenny Lynn Rosier-White of Greenfield, Jonah Elder of California, Annie Paugh of Indianapolis; great grandchildren, Haylee, Jase, Aly and Gwen.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m., Monday October 22, 2018 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral service, 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 23 at the funeral home. Entombment immediately following at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.
