Rain causes postponements
Wet weather caused havoc on Hancock County sports teams this weekend, causing multiple cancellations and postponements.
The biggest events affected, with new dates (all this week), are below.
Hoosier Heritage Conference golf: Monday afternoon at Pendleton Heights.
Mid-Eastern Conference tennis: Championship round moved to Friday at Randolph Southern. Eastern Hancock has four positions in the final.
Hancock County tennis tournament: Saturday, 9 a.m. at New Palestine.
“Kickin’ for Cancer” soccer tournament: Saturday at Greenfield-Central. Games at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., a luminary ceremony at 3:30 p.m. and the championship game to follow.
