Cougars set for annual tourney

Greenfield-Central’s fourth-annual “Kickin’ for Cancer” tournament is set for Saturday, with games set for 2, 6 and 8 p.m. at the Cougars’ main soccer field.

There will be a luminary ceremony between the 6 and 8 p.m. games to honor those who have been affected by cancer. Many items will be available to win via raffle, and T-shirts and luminaries will be available for purchase.

The tournament will feature the girls soccer teams from Decatur, Knox, Lawrence Central and Greenfield-Central. Funds raised from sponsors, ticket sales and concessions will all be donated to the American Cancer Society to support cancer awareness and research.
