Fairy Garden craft class held at local business

FORTVILLE — At Home With Us, 202 S. Main St., will host a Fairy Garden Class from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday. A $20 registration fee includes two live plants, a fairy, soil and rocks, moss and decorative stone. Participants may bring a container or shop for one in the store. Additional fairy garden accessories (a gnome, a rabbit, puppy, deer, lanterns, benches and other garden décor) are available for purchase to add to your garden. Library offers discussion group for Frankenstein

GREENFIELD — Join Barb Roark, assistant director at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road, in a discussion of Mary Shelley’s novel “Frankenstein” from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Roark will lead the discussion as part of the One State/One Story program in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the publication of “Frankenstein.” Participants are encouraged (but not required) to read the book in advance. Ask for a copy at the library’s information desk. Register to attend at hcplibrary.org.

Greenfield Parks & Recreaction offers class

GREENFIELD — Greenfield Parks & Recreation offers a charcoal and pastel art workshop from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Pat Elmore Center Art Studio, 280 N. Apple St. The $8 registration fee includes all supplies. No experience is necessary. The family-friendly class is available to all ages. Register to attend at greenfieldin.org/parks.
