INDIANAPOLIS
Monica A. (Cole) Kucan, 34, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018. She was born on March 14, 1984, in Franklin, Indiana to Charles W. Cole II & Sherry (Lahrman) Stair.
Monica graduated from Shelbyville High School in 2002 and continued her education at Purdue University, graduating in 2006 with her B.A. in Forensic Psychology & Sociology. Monica married Paul Kucan on January 19, 2013. Monica treasured her fur babies Brisco, Benny & Bossy. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, and get-togethers with her French Braid Mafia. Monica also cherished time spent with her family who she loved dearly. She was a devoted mental health advocate and was a board member/secretary for FUSE. Monica was passionate about her career as a skills development specialist at Adult & Child Mental Health Center.

Cole III (Emily Rigdon); Brenden Stair; sisters, Jordan Thomas; Mandy Smith; Allison Stair; grandmother, Linda Cole; grandfather, Jack Lahrman; grandparents Roy and Barb Stair; great-grandmother, Ramona Zollars; nephews, Grant, Owen, Remy & Calvin; niece Kinlee and many friends.
Preceding Monica in death is her grandfather, Charles W. Cole I., grandmothers; Carol Lahrman & Linda Larhman.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, 46140. Monica will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville at a later date. Stillinger Family Funeral Home in Greenfield has been entrusted with arrangements.
