GREENFIELD
Joyce Mae (Robertson) Jackson, 88, of Greenfield, passed away April 24, 2018, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born on June 16, 1929, in Indianapolis as the daughter of Claude and Lois (Chessman) Robertson. She graduated from New Palestine High School in 1947, and later married Charles Jackson.
Joyce spent her life as a homemaker. In addition to being a dedicated wife and mother, she enjoyed assisting with Hancock County 4-H, where she had been a 4-H leader and board member.
She is survived by her sons, James E. Jackson of Wilkinson, Joe D. Jackson of Sulphur Springs and Jerald C. Jackson of Morristown; daughter, Linda L. Holliday of Wilkinson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Lois Robertson; husband, Charles Jackson; sister, Zodonna Bennington; and brother, Jack Robertson.
A private graveside service for close friends and family will take place on a later date at Park Cemetery, 621 S. State St., Greenfield, IN 46140.
