The event raised $6,600, which will assist in supporting the mission of the Indiana Members Foundation, said Mandy Emery, executive director of Indiana Members Foundation, in a news release. The foundation strives to be a positive influence in the community by providing supplies to schoolchildren in the Indianapolis area, she said.

“This year’s goal is to award $50,000 with our Robert E. Martin Collegiate Scholarship Program, award $10,000 in grants through our Joan Wolfe Legacy Grant and also to purchase 5,000 backpacks and fill them with school supplies,” Emery said.
