SHELBYVILLE, IN
Don Caughman, 75 of Shelbyville, passed away on December 12, 2017. He was born in Bradenton, Florida on April 6, 1942 to the late Richard and Lois Caughman.
He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.
Don worked for the Ford Motor Company and retired after thirty years. He and his wife, Carolyn, also raised and raced standard-bred horses for forty-seven years. They enjoyed traveling with friends to almost every corner of the world. Don enjoyed playing golf and was an avid fan of IU basketball and the Indianapolis Colts.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Terry Edon.
Don is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carolyn; daughters, Donnette Johnson (Cory) and Cheryl Edon; grandchildren, Logan and Lacie Edon, and Colin Johnson; sisters, Diane Widdifield (David), Connie Buckley (Ron), and Judy Rodgers (Bill).
Memorial services for Don Caughman are being planned for Spring of 2018 in Shelbyville, Indiana.
