Steven Larry Graddy, 62, Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2024. He was born on November 2, 1961, in Lake City, Florida, to Wilburn Odell and Mary Margaret (West) Graddy. Steven is a graduate of Greenfield Central High School. He married his love Cassie Beth Boots on June 27, 1987.
Steven was a tremendously loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew him and will be sadly missed. Steven was a pillar for this family and cherished being around them whenever he could. He especially loved having time with his 3 grandchildren. Steven loved tinkering with and riding on his motorcycles. He also enjoyed fishing and had the biggest sweet-tooth when it came to chocolate and Coca-Cola. He was employed as a sheet metal journeyman and retired from Indianapolis, Local 20, after many years of dedicated service.
Steven is survived by his loving wife Cassie of nearly 37 years; their sons, Eric (Emily) Graddy and Aaron Graddy; grandchildren: Cash, Colton, and Jaxon Graddy; siblings, Marvin (Valerie) Graddy and Karen Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Connie Matteson and Mary “Janie” (Mick) Evans; nephew, Ben Graddy; and niece, Toni Graddy.
Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Greenfield, is of service to the Graddy family as they navigate through their loss. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later time and the family kindly asks for you to follow with them in the near future.
