Jerry Eugene Bailey, 64, Greenfield, died October 14, 2016, at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born on September 26, 1952, in Indianapolis as the son of Ernest and Gwendolyn (Spilbeler) Bailey.
He is survived by his wife, Paulette (Holliday) Bailey of Greenfield; son, Ben Bailey of Lawrence; daughters, Mary Alice Whitesides of Indianapolis, and Kari Bailey of Owen County; brother, Gary Bailey of Fortville; sister, Beth McHenry of Lawrence; stepsons, Chris Holliday, Jeff Holliday, and Kent Holliday; and three grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ernie Bailey of Indianapolis; mother, Gwendolyn (Spilbeler) Bailey of Indianapolis; and brother, David Bailey.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140.
