Elsie May Smith
Elsie May (Wright) Smith, 93, of Fortville, died Friday, September 30, 2016, at Edgewater Woods in Anderson. She was born May 6, 1923, in McCordsville to the late Billy and Margaret (Hennis) Wright.
Elsie is survived by sons, Bruce D. and Brent V. Smith; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother Robert Eugene (Laverne) Wright of Pendleton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris C. “Salty” Smith; and her sisters, Mary M. Birge, Martha E. Rogers, and Mary Ethel Wright.
A private family service will be held at Gravel Lawn Cemetery.
