Justin M. Smith, 34, of Lemoore, Cali., formerly of Charlottesville, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. He was born on December 14, 1981, in Greenfield as the son of Alvin Smith and Deborah (Wilson) Brooks.
Justin graduated from Eastern Hancock High School in 2000. Mr. Smith served in the Navy as a Petty Officer First Class. He received the Navy and Marine Corps achievement medal three times. Justin loved hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed working with computers and software development.
Justin is survived by his sons, Kamryn Smith, Ross Smith and Gabe Smith, all of Charlottesville; mother, Deborah (Steve) Brooks of Charlottesville; father, Alvin (Becky) Smith of Greenfield; and sister, Kelli Jo Edwards of Leesburg, Va.
Justin was preceded in death by his brother, Lee Smith.
A private funeral service will be he held at a later date.
