Buck Creek Players

INDIANAPOLIS — The Buck Creek Players present a tribute to Mae West, the 1930s film star, who comes roaring back to life when two super-fans meet at her grave and form a friendship. Together, their celebrity fantasies create a portrait of one of the world’s wittiest sex symbols. Footlite Musicals

INDIANAPOLIS — Footlite Musicals presents “The Addams Family,” the musical based on characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams whose work was frequently seen in “New Yorker” magazine. This macabre tale tells the story of Gomez Addams’ worst nightmare: daughter Wednesday, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a young man from a respectable family. This Footlite premiere is directed by Ed Trout. “The Addams Family” is playing at Footlite Musicals, 1847 N. Alabama St., Performances run through Oct. 9.
