Dennis R. Moos, 61, of Fortville, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016, in Indianapolis. He was born December 8, 1954, in Indianapolis, to the late Phillip R. and Doris I. (True) Moos.
He worked for the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 440, retiring in 2008 and was certified by Michigan State Washpenaw as an instructor for training personnel and apprentices. Dennis cherished his family, especially his four grandchildren: Lyla, Luke, Madison, and Sydney. They were his pride and joy. He was a generous, kind-hearted person who lived life to its fullest.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Pam (Moss) Moos, whom he married on August 23, 1975, at Woodbury Community Church; daughters, Hope (Nate) Jaynes of Irvington and Charity (Brian) Farber of St. Joseph, Ill.; brother, Gary A. Moos of Southport; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Debra L. Dowling in 2003 and brother, Gregory D. Moos in 2004.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday July 11, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A Celebration of Dennis’ Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, at the Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Burial will take place at the Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
