HANCOCK COUNTY — A local Mothers of Preschoolers group is hosting an open house for interested community members at 9 a.m. May 20 at Brandywine Community Church.
The open house will be the last meeting of the season for members. It will be in the church gym, and it will feature two bounce houses, a library summer reading station, a block play station, a Healthy Hands cooking station, a clothing, toys and household goods swap, and snacks and crafts for all.
Registration will be available for the 2016-17 season. There will be discounts and prizes for those who sign up at the open house; fees are $75 for the year.
MOPS is for mothers of children kindergarten age or younger. The club features inspirational and educational speakers, crafts, take home meals and kid-free time with other moms twice a month. In between meetings, the Brandywine MOPs group plans play dates and moms’ nights out.
