Joseph Holland Jessie, 40, of New Palestine, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Community Hospital East. He was born on June 12, 1974, in Ky., as the son of Joseph D. Jessie and Pamela J. (Alison) Fondern.
Mr. Jessie received two bachelor’s degree from University of Louisville in Economics and Corporate Finance. He would have received his Master of Business Administration in December from Southern New Hampshire University. Joseph married Jackie (Hood) on June 12, 2013, in Indianapolis.
He worked for Ivy Tech Community College. Mr. Jessie was a member of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Ky. He loved biking, running, swimming, and vacationing. He never met a stranger and was very dedicated to his family and had the most magical smile.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Jackie Jessie, of New Palestine; stepson, Roman Loper of New Palestine; stepdaughter, Katia Loper of New Palestine; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Paul and Betty Joyner of New Palestine; and father-in-law, Ronald Hood of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph D. Jessie.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial account has been set up for Roman and Katia Loper in memory of Joseph H. Jessie at any Greenfield Banking Company.
