Sara L. Cecil Lobb, 70, of Greenfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 31, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born on Aug. 15, 1944, in Indianapolis as the daughter of Halbert and Louise (Hufnagel) Davis. She graduated from Greenfield High School in 1962. Sara married Kenneth L. Lobb on Dec. 24, 2013 in Greenfield.
She worked for Mt. Vernon Elementary School as a custodian for many years. Sara was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Sara is survived by her husband, Kenneth L. Lobb of Greenfield; daughter, Rhonda (Tracy) Gray of Fortville; son, Shaun Albea of Greenfield; brother, Dan (Marcia) Davis of Cincinnati, OH; five grandchildren, Devin, Monica, Colton, Addi, and Bryce; and several stepchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Halbert and Louise (Hufnagel) Davis and brother, Jim Davis.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2015, also at the mortuary. Pastor Roger Kinion will be officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Arlington Cemetery.
