Betty L. Davis-Rombold, 90, of Greenfield passed away Monday, March 30, 2015, at her home. She was born Nov. 9, 1924, in Henry County, Ind., to the late Roy and Ruby (Carmichael) Carpenter.
Betty was a graduate of Short Ridge High School, active in the Moose Lodge, Moose Heart, attended Trinity Park United Methodist Church and retired from Indiana Knitwear in 1979.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Davis of Greenfield; daughter, Sandy Kirby of Mt. Dora, Fla.; significant other, Richard Meek; grandchildren, J.D. (Dawn) Fortner, Brenda (Wayne) Mocas, Brandy Sloan, Tia Davis, Justin Davis and nine great- grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015. at Park Cemetery, 621 South State Street, Greenfield, IN 46140.
