David “Reid” Evans, 92, of Fortville, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born March 21, 1922, in Terre Haute, to Oscar and Tilly (Houston) Evans.
Reid was also a veteran of the Army Air Corps having served in WW II.
He is survived by his wife, Gwen (Paris) Evans whom he married July 1, 1981; daughter, Mettawee “Stormy” Runion; son, Raymond “Bo” (Amy) Malone, Jr.; three grandchildren; sister, Rose Shaw; brother, John “Jack” Evans and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Juanita Evans; sister, Floy Lloyd and brother, Walter Evans.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of service. A Celebration of Reid’s life will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
