Gary A. Vaught, 61, of Boggstown, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, in Franklin. He was born Feb. 15, 1953, in Shelby County, the son of Walter and Lois (Morgan) Vaught. He married Linda Vansickle on Dec. 28, 1973, and she survives.
Other survivors include his sons, Greg (Krystal) Vaught, of Greenfield and Mike (Amanda) Vaught, of Boggstown; special daughter, Leslie Jean Asberry of Indianapolis; brothers, Steve (Linda) Vaught , of Fairland and David (Robin) Vaught, of Boggstown; four grandchildren; father-in-law, Don (Jo) Vansickle, of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Virginia Vansickle; and special daughters, Sarah Tubergen and Kathryn Feuer.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville and from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 12442 Southeastern Avenue, Acton, Indiana 46269. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church, with Pastor Don Wells officiating. Interment will be at Boggstown Cemetery in Boggstown.
