James Christopher "Jimmy" Koch, 46, of New Palestine, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, at his residence. He was born Dec. 11, 1967, in Indianapolis, the son of James R. Koch and Carolyn (Mosiman) McNamara. Jimmy graduated from Morristown High School in 1986.
Jimmy is survived by his father of Carmel; mother and stepfather, Dale McNamara, of Fountaintown; sister, Dana (Chris) Fields of Shelbyville; three aunts; two uncles; several cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Marcia Koch; and two uncles.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, at the funeral home. Interment will be at New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine.
