Donald Paul Strange, Jr., 75, of Greenfield, passed into the next life on August 6, 2014, while in St. Francis Hospice Center in Titusville, Fl. Don "Butch" was the eldest son of Don Paul Strange and Albertine Helen Mary Campbell-Strange and loving husband of 57 years to Joyce Ann Jarrett-Strange.
Don retired from Naval Avionics Center in March of 1995, where he worked as a machinist and quality assurance specialist. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughter, Dawn Renee' Strange-Polk (Donald); son, Glen Paul Strange; and grandson, Ellis Paul Allen. He is also survived by five brothers and sisters, Lois Strange-Jackson-Carr, Joyce Strange-Wilson, Hal Strange, William Strange and Ginger Strange-Price.
Donald was proceeded in death by brothers, Terry T. Strange and Timothy Strange.
Viewing will be on Saturday, August 16, 2014, from 10 a.m. to Noon with Services at 2 p.m. the same day at Hendryx Mortuary in Cumberland, Ind.
In lieu of flowers, Donald has requested a Memorial contribution be made in his memory to John C. Beeson Humanitarian Fund c/o Hancock County Community Foundation 312 E. Main St #B Greenfield, IN 46140. Envelopes will be available at the service.
