Sandra Jean (Lesher) Janes, 73, of Greenfield, passed away April 28, 2014. She was born on Dec. 31, 1940, in Indianapolis, as the daughter of Roy and Beverly (Spivey) Lesher. She married Harold Janes on Nov. 24, 1963.
She is survived by her loving husband, Harold Janes of Greenfield; mother, Beverly Lesher; sons, Douglas (Angela) Janes and Gary Janes, both of Greenfield; daughter, Tammy (Michael) McMaster of Greenfield; brother, Donald (Karen) Lesher of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Delanie and Sydney Janes and Raymond and Ryan McMaster; and cousin, Joan Hummer of Wabash, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Otto Lesher and an infant daughter.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014, at Park Chapel Christian Church, 1176 E. McKenzie Rd., Greenfield, IN. Pastor David Woods will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
