Homan “Herb” S. Coder, Jr.
Homan “Herb” S. Coder, Jr., 78, Greenfield, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Hancock Regional Hospice. Born July 11, 1934, in DuBois, PA, he was the son of Homan and Dagmar (Johnson) Coder.
Surviving him are his wife, Marie Coder of Greenfield; daughter, Sally (Scott) Brown of Greenfield; son, David Coder of Michigan; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield, with the funeral service immediately following at 7 p.m. Pastor Danny Curry will be officiating. Entombment will be at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military rites.
