Loretta R. (Souder) Pope
Loretta R. (Souder) Pope, 77, Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born in Greenfield, Jan. 1, 1936, to the late James E. and Helen “Pat” (Reece) Souder.
She was a graduate of Maxwell High School, and attended Indiana University. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. A former member of Tri Kappa, and loved to play bridge. Loretta also loved her flower gardens and spent many hours manicuring them to perfection.
Loretta is survived by her son, Bradley F. Pope of West Palm Beach, FL.; daughter, Donna J. Pope of Greenfield; and grandson, Skylar T. Edwards of Chicago, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Pattee L. Yater; and former husband, Donald E. Pope.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., Monday, April 1, 2013, with services immediately following at 12 p.m., at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN, 46140, with burial to follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
