William "Bill" Hugle Mehaffey Jr., 75, of Pendleton, died on Dec. 31, 2012. Born on Aug. 9, 1937, in Fortville, and he was the son of William and Melba (Hite) Mehaffey.
Surviving Bill are his wife, Judy Mehaffey of Pendleton and Fort Myers, Fla.; children, William “Bill” R. (Ginger) Mehaffey of Markleville; Dean L. (Patty) Mehaffey of Indianapolis; Sharmaine L. Mehaffey-Davis of Lebanon; stepdaughter, Fawn A. (Jim) Meek-Minchin of Greenfield; sister, Patricia (Bill) Pender of Greenwood, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and stepdaughter, Dawn M. Meek.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Erlewein Mortuary in Fortville. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, also at the mortuary.
