Walter J. Ream Jr., 63, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday morning Dec. 6, 2012, at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born March 7, 1949, in Zanesville, Ohio. The son of Mildred Joan (Lutz) Ream and the late Walter J. Ream Sr.
Walter was employed at Advantage Engineering in Greenwood as a service technician, and served his country with the Navy during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his mother, Mildred Joan; daughter, Melissa(Quenton) Ison of Fortville; granddaughter, Mackenzie Fishero of Fortville; sisters, Shirlee Lahuis of Mich., Laura Shively of Shelbyville, Deborah Ross of Greenfield, Sheila Steele of Indianapolis, and Sarah Brian of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter J. Ream Sr.; and brother, Charles W. Ream.
Funeral service will be held at Noon on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Condo and Son Funeral home in Wilkinson with Gary Sickle officiating. Burial with military service conducted by the Knightstown American Legion will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
