Betty L. Elsner, 92, of Greensburg, died on Nov. 27, 2012, at Aspen
Place Health Center. The daughter of Fred and Rebecca (Proctor) Wyman, Betty was born on May 8,1920, in Bradford, Ohio.
She is survived by her daughters Katherine Elsner of Springfield, IL, Rosie (Carl) Stier, Frances Elsner and Suzanne (Nick) Fasbinder, all of Greensburg; sons, Joe Elsner of Greenfield, John (Vonda) Elsner and Jeffrey (Sandy) Elsner, both of Greensburg; son-in-law, Whitie Wesseler of Greensburg; brother-in-law Oscar (Evelyn) Elsner; and sister-in-law, Helen (Delbert) Hausperger, both of N. Vernon; 22 grandchildren; and 31 great- grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rita L. Wesseler, three grandchildren; and three brothers.
There will be a visitation for family and friends from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Gilliland-Howe Funeral home with a rosary service at 2:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg with Fr. John Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at St.Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in the form of a Mass, to the St. Mary’s Building Fund or Hospice of South Central Indiana.
