Shirley A. Harris, 76, of Westfield, died on Friday, June 15, 2012, at her son's home in Noblesville following a brief illness. She was born on May 24, 1936, in Noblesville, Ind. to Ralph and Gertrude (Coverdale) Lewis.
She is survived by five children, Timothy (Pam) Harris of Lafayette, Vicky (Bill) Meldahl of Noblesville, Terry (Greg) Krieg of Greencastle, Deborah Harris of Zionsville, and Rodney (Cherlyn) Harris of Noblesville; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jim Lewis of Westfield, Ted Lewis of Carmel, and Donald Lewis of Indianapolis; and two sisters, Christy Rajer of Middletown and Cindy Truitt of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Gary Lewis; and a grandson, Brandon Harris.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 18, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Fred Knoll officiating. Burial will follow in Eagle Creek Cemetery, Westfield.
