Michael K. Turner, 57, of Greenfield, lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Hancock Regional Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born May 9, 1954, in Anderson to the late Donald R. and Judith E. (Sylvester) Turner.

Mike was a 1972 graduate of Lawrence Central High School. Most recently he was a Real Estate Agent with Century 21 Wilson & Assoc., Greenfield, a career he was very passionate about. Previous to that, he owned and operated his own business Hoosier Vinyl & Velour Repair for many years. Prior to owning his own business he worked for Ed Martin Olds as the Body Shop Manager. He was also a member of the Calvin W. Prather Masonic Lodge 717.

Mike is survived by his wife of over 36 years, Julie (Hurst) Turner, whom he married Nov. 21, 1975, in Fortville; daughters. Amy (Chad) Maroska of Greenfield and Denisha (Nathan) Harsin of McCordsville; grandchildren, Megan, Ryan, Grant, Dylan, Kayana, Cole and Drew; brother, Bryan Turner of Lapel; sister Michelle (David) Tostado of SAN DIEGO; and special companions Gretchen and Ebony.

Friends and Family may call from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, 2012, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
