Miriam E. Thompson, age 90, died on Dec.18, 2011, at Golden Living Center-Brandywine, Greenfield, Ind. Born on Sept. 27, 1921 in Knightstown, Ind., to the late Ralph B. and Maggie E. (Tice) Rhodes.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Thompson of Knightstown, Ind., daughters; Rose Ann Chew of Knightstown, Ind., Linda Priest of Rushville, Ind., sons; Joe Bruce Thompson of Robinson, Il., Timothy E. Thompson of Crawfordsville, Ind., brother; Richard Rhodes of Port Charlotte, Fla., Philip Rhodes of Noblesville, eighteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, two great- great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Louise Moorehouse, brothers; Carl, Max and Ennis Rhodes.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, at Wilkinson Church of Christ, Wilkinson, Ind., prior to the funeral Service that will begin at 1 p.m., with Russ Lutes officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown, IN.
