Thomas E. Shupperd, 78, of Fortville, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, in Greenfield. He was born June 20, 1932, in Tipton, Ind. to the late Virgil and Helen (Mead) Stoops Shupperd.
He is survived by his sons, Timothy (DeAnn) Shupperd of Carthage, Trent (Donna) Shupperd of Shelbyville, and Todd (Beth) Shupperd of Fortville; daughters, Joy Hunt of Danville, Janyce (John) Merz of Pinehurst, N.C.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Evelyn Brooks of Tipton and Delores (Guy) Jones of Tipton.
Friends may call from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec.18, 2010, and from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
