Violations: C – sanitizing solution too weak, corrected; NC/R – tongs needed for apples at customer self-service, corrected; NC – hand soap needs to be provided at hand sinks, to be corrected by Dec. 2; NC – disposable towels need to be provided at hand sink, to be corrected by Dec. 2; NC – thermometer was not calibrated, corrected.
Mama Nita’s Pizza
Location: 1506½ N. State St., Greenfield
Type of Inspection: Routine
Violations: C – review with all staff employee health policy, corrected; C – equipment food contact surfaces/slicer shall be clean to sight and touch, to be corrected by Dec. 7; NC – customer self-service of utensils must have utensils presented with handles up, protect lip contact surfaces, corrected; NC – need sanitizing test strips for all chemicals used to sanitize, test strips must be used to confirm correct concentration, to be corrected by Dec. 7.
Penn Station
Location: 1667 N. State St., Greenfield
Type of Inspection: Routine
Violations: C – must date mark chicken salad and tuna salad when package opened, corrected; NC – clean door and handles of equipment, to be corrected by March 1; NC – washed equipment/utensils must be rinsed in clean rinse water, corrected; NC/R – gap at exterior door, to be corrected by March 1.
