The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four times annually and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection Reports.

Papa Murphy’s Take-N-Bake Pizza

Location: 188 E. New Road, Greenfield

Type of inspection: Routine

No violations found.

Ben’s Soft Pretzels

Location: 1965 N. State St., Greenfield

Type of inspection: Routine

Violations found: C — no employee health policy, corrected; NC — protect lip contact surface of cups, employee must not handle cup at lip contact surface, keep cups in sleeve and remove/dispense from cup bottom, corrected; NC — need to have sanitizing test strips available and used, to be corrected by July 1; NC — clean in-use utensils/cutters as needed to remove build-up, to be corrected by June 1; post permit in public view.

Wendy’s

Location: 2809 N. County Road 600W, Greenfield

Type of inspection: Routine

Violations found: C — employee drink must have lid and be stored away from food, food containers, etc., corrected; C — sanitizing solution testing at low concentration dispenser, called for service.
