GREENFIELD — Officials from the Attorney Generals office say they continue to work on retrieving more than $651,000 from three former Greenfield-Central administrators who were overpaid over a nine-year period starting in 2010.

McCORDSVILLE – The Hancock County Community Foundation celebrated a major milestone at its 30th anniversary gala on Friday, Nov. 11.

Mary Ellen and I watch “Jeopardy!” and the other evening we discussed how Ken Jennings chats with the contestants, giving each one an open-ended question to prompt a funny or interesting personal story. Mary Ellen feared that if she ever got on the show, she’d have trouble coming up with five entertaining anecdotes, assuming she won every night for a week. Together, we crafted some fun ones. Her responses here all 100% true.

As the seasons change and winter approaches, we tend to look at things needing to be done before the onset of the harsher weather. That means maintenance of not only our houses and yards, but also of ourselves and our pets.
