HANCOCK COUNTY — New "Star Wars" postage stamps will be available through the U.S. Postal Service starting May 4.

That date is a special day for Star Wars fans, who change the words "May the Force be with you" to "May the fourth be with you" each year.

The new "forever" stamps celebrate STEM education (science, technology, engineering and math), since technology plays such a prominent role in the space-age entertainment franchise.

Preorders can be made online at usps.com/stamps and by phone at 800-STAMP24 (800-782-6724), beginning April 5.
