Environmental department seeks award nominations

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Environmental Management is seeking nominations for the 2017 Indiana Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence. This award is the state’s most prestigious environmental recognition.

The Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence is open to any Indiana citizen, business, nonprofit organization, school, or government agency. All projects submitted must demonstrate significant, measurable results that positively impact Indiana’s environment. Nominated projects must be sustainable, innovative, exemplary, and thoroughly documented. Nominations must be received by IDEM no later than 5 p.m. July 28.

Local radiology business welcomes new staff member

INDIANAPOLIS — Northwest Radiology Network welcomes radiologist Ted Jennermann, M.D. Jennermann’s area of expertise is cardiothoracic imaging.

Jennermann earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Indiana University — Bloomington, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He served his medical internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, his radiology residency at the University of Colorado Hospital and his cardiothoracic radiology fellowship at the National Jewish Health and University of Colorado Hospital.

He is a member of the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine, the Radiological Society of North America and the Colorado Radiological Society, and sat on the Resident Education Technology Committee at UCH.

Jennermann also has authored and/or presented a number of notable medical journal articles and research symposiums.
