GREENFIELD – The friends of Matt Headlee will host a benefit motorcycle ride on June 24 starting from the Greenfield Fraternal Order of Police, 400 E. Davis Road. Registration begins at 9 a.m.; the ride begins at 11:30 a.m. The cost to participate is $15 per bike and $5 per rider. Matt Headlee was diagnosed with double pneumonia and an infection in his lungs. He was put in an induced coma and on a ventilator. Headlee has made progress, but has a long road ahead to recovery. Proceeds from the benefit will go to Headlee’s medical bills and daily expenses.
